Computer Repairs
Repairs are an important part of what we do. Business or personal we can help. We stock a large amount of hardware in our Portree workshop so you don't have to wait very long to get up and running again. For software faults (blue screens, crashing etc.) we will just charge at our hourly rate. Most software faults take 1-2 hours to fix. If it takes longer than this we will provide you with an estimate before proceeding any further. Most repairs are carried out and finished within 24 hours.
Our current rates are £30 + VAT per hour (for workshop repairs) and £40 + VAT per hour (onsite or remote).
If you can't bring your PC to us, we can arrange to pick it up for you and return it when its fixed. We also provide insurance estimates for damaged equipment.
Data Security!
We take extremely good care of your data. When your PC comes in we will secure your data before starting the repair. Even if your PC is beyond economical repair we can usually retrieve all of your data and supply it to you via memory stick, DVD or external hard drive.
Service Plans
For a monthly fee, we can offer monthly service plans for business or home users. Service plans include telephone support, remote support & proactive maintainance to help catch faults before they cause problems. In addition to this, all service plans give you discounts on our hourly rates. For business service plans, we include remote support and onsite visits.
Service plans are a great way to ensure your PCs are running as well as they can be, with and with a fixed payment every month they are easier to manage.

Virus/Spyware removal
Viruses, spyware
and other forms of malware are a threat to every PC. We can remove any malware and advise you on which packages would suit you best to offer continued protection in the future. Most virus removal work takes time so we prefer to do this in the workshop where you will pay less. If this doesn't suit you however, we will be more than happy to arrange a call-out or a pickup & return.
Virus removal typically costs £49-£90 (inc VAT) depending on the severity of the infection.
Health Check
If your PC is running slower than it should or takes too long to start up there are many things we can do to help. In some cases more memory is the answer. Most of the time, a thorough health check will make a dramatic difference. Our standard health check costs just £55, while our extended health check is £85. Please
